The youth involved in the Bible Quiz program literally memorize books of the Bible, and then travel to competitions across the country. Over the past few years our quiz program has ben ranked as one of the top 3 teams in the country.
What is Bible Quiz?
Bible Quizzing is a ministry and competition in which teams of young people memorize, study, and compete over a selected portion of Scripture. It’s more than just a “Bible trivia” game — it’s designed to help participants internalize God’s Word, grow spiritually, and build a love for the Bible through the program.
Why Do We Participate In Bible Quiz
At Ridgeview, we believe in the importance of hiding God’s Word in our hearts (Psalm 119:11 [KJV]). As a church we are committed to teaching the Bible as our final authority in all matters of faith and practice. Bible Quizzing gives our young people a unique opportunity to memorize, study, and apply the King James Bible in a structured, engaging way.
We use Bible Quizzing not just as a fun activity, but as a tool for serious discipleship. It helps our youth build a strong foundation in the Word of God, equipping them to stand firm in a world that constantly challenges Biblical truth. Through memorization, competition, and fellowship, our quizzers grow in their knowledge of Scripture, develop spiritual discipline, and learn to glorify God with their minds and hearts.
